Stavros Tsirbas, mayor of Agios Anargyro and Kamaterou, initially responded to the "immoral and slanderous" attack with a statement. It is considered certain, however, that he will make the revelations during the April 26th city council meeting.
It is clear that the opposition in the municipality of Agioi Anargyro and Kamaterou is not convinced, so they chose a different way: slander. Inevitably, Stavros Tsirbas immediately responded with clear and firm words.
He said in detail:
"Dear fellow citizens, dear fellow citizens,
The immoral and slanderous attack that I personally received in the last few days is UNPRECEDENTED.
As before, the huge project that has been carried out in our city for the last 4 years has not.
Our Municipality is going through the most creative and transparent period of its history, which seems to disturb those who have been ravaging our area for decades.
Our answer to the mud will be one. Even harder work, with work and actions alongside the citizen, solving chronic problems and upgrading our quality of life, as no one has been able to until now.
So I invite you all to attend the upcoming Municipal Council, either live or online on Wednesday 26.04 at 6:00 p.m., where answers will be given, with detailed data and evidence, dispelling the slanders of those who try to divide us and to shake the relationship of trust that we have built all these years.
We continue united for the city we dream of".
