There are 507 funding applications submitted to the "Smart Manufacturing" Action, which is implemented by the Ministry of Development & Investments, the General Secretariat of Industry and the Special Service for the Management and Implementation of Industry - Trade & Consumer sectors, the Economic Chamber of Greece and the Technical Chamber of Greece, within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan - Greece 2.0.
The total Subsidized Budget amounts to 707,526,463.98 euros and the total Requested Grant to 396,757,356.46 euros.
According to a relevant announcement, the action aims to strengthen the very small, small and medium-sized enterprises of the Greek industrial ecosystem to strengthen their technological infrastructure and upgrade their mechanical equipment, with the use of smart cutting-edge technologies included in Industry 4.0, with low environmental impact.
In the following period, the Action Implementation Bodies will complete all the required actions to start the comparative evaluation of the submitted investment plans.
