Two doctors were sentenced by the Three-member Criminal Court of Thessaloniki as they were found guilty of the death, by negligence, of a 41-year-old patient, after an operation to remove an umbilical hernia, at the Papanikolaou Hospital in Thessaloniki.

Two of the six arrested for the wild episode of fan violence in Ioannina, last Friday afternoon, were released with restrictive conditions. The health condition of the 30-year-old who is hospitalized in the ICU of the Ioannina hospital with serious head injuries is stable, while the 29-year-old injured man was discharged.
