The vice-president of the Supreme Court and president of the A1 Department of the supreme court, Christos Tzanerikos, resigned from the judiciary, after the criticism caused for his public statement in which he harshly criticized a government order for the Kasidiari party.
The vice-president of the Supreme Court, who was to preside over the A1 Department that will judge the legality of participation in the elections, of all parties, and of the Hellenes party founded by Ilias Kasidiaris, resigned after the reactions as he publicly took a position on the regulation of government, while he himself was going to judge and vote on it.
