The students in Arsakeio who had tied a fishing line around the neck of their 15-year-old classmate "for fun", as they said, are expelled. This decision was taken by the school's teachers' union after an almost 12-hour meeting, according to information cited by Mega. Along with the involved students of the 3rd High School, one more student, from a lower class, will be expelled, because he had pulled out a knife at school.

It is recalled that the shocking incident of bullying occurred on Friday 31/3 in Arsakeio, when six students - five boys and one girl - immobilized a 15-year-old classmate and put the fishing line around his neck and the rest of his body.

When the perpetrators left the room, the 15-year-old took out the fishing line, went to the school's infirmary for first aid, but did not reveal the attack he received to the teachers. When he returned home, his mother saw the bruises on his neck, so the boy revealed everything to her. His parents reported the incident to the Police, filing a lawsuit against unknown persons, on Friday night, and the investigation was taken over by the Juvenile Department of Attica Security.

It wasn't the first time

The 15-year-old, according to information, named the perpetrators, saying that the same group had bullied him other times, since last year. In fact, Attica Security proceeded to the arrest of four children from the group that was reported, while two escaped the spontaneous procedure.

After the matter was made known, the Philekpediavetii Etairia announced that "disciplinary procedures will be initiated in order to investigate the responsibility of the students involved by the relevant teachers' association. Similarly, an urgent request for a Sworn Administrative Examination has already been submitted by the Regional Directorate of Secondary Education II of Athens for any disciplinary responsibilities of teachers regarding the incident".

The teachers' union decided to expel the students involved (they are from the 3rd high school) as well as one more from a lower class, because he had pulled out a knife at school.
