In the middle of the street, a 38-year-old man tried to rape a woman

At half past two in the morning on Tuesday, the 38-year-old, a citizen of Nigeria, saw a woman on the road in front of him and decided to attack her.
The victim, 32 years old, was walking at the intersection of Ermou and Agios Filippou, in Monastiraki, when the would-be rapist approached her, tried to immobilize her and with his hands performed indecent acts against her.
The 32-year-old screamed, resisted, and officers from the Foot Patrol Sub-Directorate located the man from Nigeria, handcuffed him and took him to the Acropolis Department, where their colleagues filed a case against him for attempted rape.
