The intervention of the prosecutor responsible for the protection of minors of the Supreme Court, Georgia Adelinis, was caused by the knife attack received by the 12-year-old from Sepolia, who, according to the charges that have been brought, has been the victim of rape and pimping by the remanded Ilias Michos.
After the attack with a knife that the little girl complained that she received through her lawyers from an unknown person in the house of a relative outside of Athens, the competent deputy prosecutor of the Supreme Court requested that measures be taken to increase the surveillance of the child. The relevant order was given to the juvenile prosecutor of the minor's place of residence.
It is recalled that the lawyers of the 12-year-old girl as well as her remanded mother have complained that the attack the little girl received is to intimidate her in order not to reveal other persons who sexually abused her to the competent authorities.

"Regarding publications and statements that are reproduced in print, electronic and broadcast media and concern an alleged attack against a minor, the Hellenic Police Headquarters clarifies the following:
The complaint of the minor, who is the central person in the Colonos case, is being examined by the competent services with due care, in order to accurately establish the facts.
Specifically, in the early hours of yesterday (3-4-2023), a relative of the 12-year-old girl complained by phone that the minor was attacked by an unknown assailant, in the house where she is staying.
The competent police services were immediately mobilized and the minor testified about the incident, in the presence of a psychologist, while an order was also given for an examination by a medical examiner. At the same time, the place where the alleged incident took place was investigated by the competent Criminal Investigations unit.
It is noted that the house in question was monitored by assigned patrols, at regular intervals, however it was not guarded permanently due to non-submission of a relevant request, as provided by the current legislation.
Due to the special nature of the incident, the need for everyone to be very careful in commenting and transmitting information is emphasized
