In the individual components of the measure, the largest decrease was observed in retail sales of motor fuels which fell by 1.8% compared to January, while non-food products had a reduced turnover by 0.7% and the category food, alcohol tobacco by 0 .6%.

The biggest drop among countries was in Slovenia with a 10.5% plunge, followed by Hungary and Poland with 2% and Sweden with 1.6%. On the contrary, in Cyprus the turnover increased by 1.6%, in Luxembourg by 0.8% and in Belgium by 0.7%.
