Today begins the advance payment of the regular unemployment benefit, the long-term unemployment benefit, the work allowance and the self-employed unemployment allowance, as well as the advance payment of the Easter Gift to subsidized unemployed persons, beneficiaries of the employment benefit, beneficiaries of the special maternity protection benefit and beneficiaries of the parental leave allowance.
The credits of the allowances and the Easter Gift will be made automatically by direct deposit to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.
As the Public Employment Service (DYPA) states in its announcement, no action is required from the beneficiaries and there is no reason to attend the Employment Promotion Centers (KPA2).
Payments appear in bank accounts within three working days, after they have been paid by DYPA.
It is reminded that the pre-payment of the benefits of those unemployed who have an obligation to declare their presence during the period from March 31, 2023 to April 23, 2023, will take place, after the declaration of presence, which is done exclusively electronically, through gov.gr (gov.gr → Employment and insurance → Unemployment → Declaration of presence of subsidized unemployed persons).
