Individuals' deposits were distributed in February as they decreased by 1.5 billion euros, while the annual financing rate of the economy also recorded a decrease, which was 5.5%, in the same period compared to 6.3% in January.
According to the Bank? of Greece, the new decrease in deposits comes in addition to the 4.5 billion euro decrease that occurred in the first month of the year.
The deposits of the private sector were limited to 182.798 billion euros (from 184.142 billion in January this year), with the biggest decrease being noted in those of businesses (-1.255 billion euros), as they were 43.075 billion from 44.312 billion euros, while household savings decreased by 202 million euros (they amounted to 139.7 billion euros).
