The submission of online funding applications for the new "subsidy program for business initiatives to employ young freelancers, aged 20 to 44, who belong to marginalized social groups, such as the Roma", started yesterday as part of the operational program "South Aegean" of the programming period 2014-2020.
The deadline for submitting applications is May 4, 2023 at 3:00 p.m.
The aim of the action, lasting 12 months, is to promote the self-employment of 20 unemployed Roma, aged 20 to 44, through the creation of sustainable businesses in the South Aegean Region.
As the Public Employment Service (DYPA) states in its announcement, the grant amounts to 14,800 euros and is paid in three installments as follows:
1st installment of 4,000 euros, after the start of activity at DOU.
2nd installment of 5,400 euros, after the end of the first semester from the start.
3rd installment of 5,400 euros, after the end of the second semester from the start.
Beneficiaries of the action are registered unemployed Roma in the DYPA register, aged 20-44, who submit a funding application and a business plan proposal, through the State Aid Information System (PSKE) of the Ministry of Development and Investments, at https: //www.ependyseis.gr.
The program, with a total budget of 300,000 euros, is co-financed by the Greek State and the European Social Fund-Youth Employment Initiative, within the operational program "Human Resource Development, Education and Lifelong Learning 2014-2020".
