The payment of the main and supplementary pensions for April, the advance payment of pensions for the same month, the extraordinary aid to pensioners with a personal difference, who receive low and medium pensions and the payment of the benefits of the Organization of Welfare Benefits and Social Solidarity (OPEKA) for the March, includes, among other things, the scheduling of payments for the week of March 27-31, 2023.
In total, it is estimated that almost 3 billion euros will be paid.
In particular, as stated by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in its announcement:
The following payments will be made by e-EFKA next week, as part of the organization's regular payments:
– On Tuesday, March 28, 2023, 548.2 million euros will be paid to 924,428 pensioners of the former entities OAEE, OGA, NAT, ETAA, ETAT, ETAP-MME and PPC.
– On Wednesday, March 29, 2023, 829.6 million euros will be paid to 1,551,554 pensioners of the State, IKA-ETAM, OTE and banks, whose AMKA expires on 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9.
– On Thursday, March 30, 2023, 830.8 million euros will be paid to 1,553,927 pensioners of the State, IKA-ETAM, OTE and banks, whose AMKA expires on 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8.
– On Thursday, March 30, 2023, 6.3 million euros will be paid to 16,500 beneficiaries for April pension advances under Law 4778/2021.
– During the week of March 27-31, 2023, 16.5 million euros will be paid to 700 beneficiaries following the issuance of lump sum decisions.
It is noted that the number of supplementary pensions includes approximately 27,000 supplementary pensions that were issued in February and are being paid.
As part of the e-EFKA emergency payments, with a lump sum payment, on March 31, 2023, an emergency financial aid of 200-300 euros will be paid to pensioners with a personal difference, who receive medium and low pensions.
For the exact amount and the number of beneficiaries, there will be a newer announcement from e-EFKA.
The following payments will be made by DYPA:
– 90 million euros to 370,000 beneficiaries for the payment of unemployment benefits and other benefits (including the Easter gift to 250,000 beneficiaries).
– 20 million euros to 11,000 beneficiaries under subsidized employment programs.
– 9 million euros to 25,000 mothers for subsidized maternity leave.
– 3 million euros to 500 beneficiaries for programs of a public interest nature.
On Friday, March 31, 2023, OPECA will make the regular welfare allowance payments for March as follows:
– 102.6 million euros to 534,715 beneficiaries for family allowances for children.
– 74.5 million euros to 190,000 beneficiaries for disability benefits (disability and maintenance).
– 42.4 million euros to 204,045 beneficiaries for Minimum Guaranteed Income.
– 2.5 million euros to 269,500 beneficiaries for housing allowance.
– 13 million euros to 35,526 beneficiaries for uninsured elderly benefits.
– 10.8 million euros to 10,726 beneficiaries for birth allowance.
– 224,245 euros to 757 beneficiaries for housing assistance allowance.
– 210,250 euros to 5,975 beneficiaries for expatriate allowance.
– 165,117 euros to 2,133 beneficiaries for the State's contribution to loans in the context of main residence protection.
– 110,199 euros to 511 beneficiaries for the State's contribution to loans of the "GEFYRA" program, due to COVID-19.
– 124,539 euros to 158 beneficiaries for funeral expenses of the uninsured.
– 14,500 euros to 52 beneficiaries for State contribution to vulnerable debtors.
