ΔΡΑΣΗ ΤΟΥ ΥΠΟΥΡΓΕΙΟΥ ΨΗΦΙΑΚΗΣ ΔΙΑΚΥΒΕΡΝΗΣΗΣ

Its implementation includes the action of the Ministry of Digital Governance, Smart Readiness, with a budget of 100 million euros, which will finance, through vouchers, works in approximately 120,000 buildings, to transform them into "smart" ones.
The action is financed by the Recovery Fund and the nominal value of the vouchers is determined according to the type of work to be carried out and the special characteristics of the buildings.
Specifically, with the Smart Readiness action part of the cost is subsidized for:
The upgrading of the internal wiring of the buildings in order to be able to receive ultra high speed broadband services.
The installation of infrastructure for the interconnection of new "smart" utility network meters (electricity, natural gas).
The installation of infrastructure for the interconnection of appropriate sensors related to safety, the control of good operation and the taking of measurements related to the environmental footprint of the most basic communal facilities of the buildings (central heating boiler room and elevator).
In the context of the action in question, works are subsidized that will be carried out in particular in single-family houses and multi-family houses as long as they are within the intervention areas and do not already have indoor optical cabling.
Areas of intervention are those through which a fiber optic network capable of providing broadband services immediately upgradable to 1 Gbps passes through or will pass through until 2026.
The buildings that can be subsidized will be determined based on the data submitted by the electronic communications providers throughout the action as often as necessary. For this purpose, the providers who wish to declare coverage points should be registered on the one hand in the Information System of the Program, on the other hand in the "Broadband Map and Network Registry (CHEMD)" Information System of the Ministry of Digital Governance through which the Information System will be updated Program System.
The action was announced by the Information Society (executive arm of the Ministry of Digital Governance).
Applications to register Installers in the Action's Register of Installers can be submitted from today, Thursday, March 23, 2023, until its end date, that is, Monday, June 30, 2025.
Requests for issuing vouchers can be submitted from the date that will be announced on the action's website (www.smartreadiness.gov.gr).
