The trade balance deficit jumped to 35.15 billion euros in the 11th month of 2022, recording an increase of 58.6%, as despite the "jump" in exports, imports remain at high levels.
In particular, according to the data announced today by the Hellenic Statistical Authority, the trade balance deficit in the period January-November 2022 climbed to 35.154 billion euros ($36,470.6 million) against 22.163 billion euros (25,894.9 million . dollars) during the same period of 2021. The corresponding size without oil products showed an increase of 6.415 billion euros, i.e. 36.6% and the corresponding size without oil products and ships showed an increase of 6.157 billion euros, i.e. 35, 2%.
In November 2022 data, the trade deficit widened to 3.753 billion euros ($3,787.9 million) from 2.943 billion euros ($3,322.7 million) in the same month of 2021 , showing an increase of 27.5% (in euros). The corresponding value without oil products in November 2022 showed an increase in the deficit by 54.1 million euros, i.e. 2.8%, while the corresponding value without oil products and ships in November 2022 showed an increase of 35.7 million euros .euro, i.e. 1.8% compared to November 2021.

In the eleventh month of 2022 the total value of imports - arrivals amounted to 85.267 billion euros ($89,191.9 million) against 58.56 billion euros ($69,198.5 million) in the corresponding period of 2021, registering a "jump" 45.6% (in euros). The corresponding value without oil products showed an increase of 12.186 billion euros, i.e. 27.8% and the corresponding value without oil products and ships showed an increase of 11.941 billion euros, i.e. 27.3%, compared to the January period -November 2021.
In particular, in November 2022 the value of imports amounted to 8.493 billion euros ($8,637.9 million) against 6.879 billion euros ($7,828.8 million) in the same month of 2021, showing an increase of 23.5% (in Euro). The corresponding value without oil products in November 2022 showed an increase of 449.2 million euros, i.e. 9.5%, and the corresponding value without oil products and ships in the month of November 2022 showed an increase of 447.4 million euros, i.e. 9.5%, compared to November 2021.
