While the Municipality has placed underground bins in various parts of the city, the said underground bins have been left with "jelly", as they have not been working for months. The Municipality of Lykovrysi - Pefkis spent thousands of euros in order to procure the underground bins, while the specific program has been running for years, without the underground bins having been put into operation to date.
Reasonable questions arise, such as why the system of underground bins is not put into operation, while corresponding problems are also observed in the "brown" bins and the "brown" garbage truck, which has never been put into operation.
We call on the municipal authority to take all the necessary actions, so that both the underground bins, as well as the "brown garbage truck", are put into operation.
Finally, we call on the responsible deputy mayor to publicly answer why the use of the "brown" bins, the "brown" garbage truck and the operation of the underground bins have not been activated, in order to inform the residents who ask these reasonable questions.
