"The case of the 12-year-old girl, who was handed over to child rapists by the Kolonos circuit, has shocked us all," says Popi Tsapanidou in a statement, stressing that, "six months later, it takes our breath away when we learn that the child, all during this time, he is completely unprotected by the State, while he receives threats and attacks not to speak, from the members of the ring and the accused party leader of New Democracy".

After pointing out that "we can all imagine the terror the little girl is going through", she comments: "Everyone except the government and the Minister of Civil Protection. Finally, Mrs. Tsapandiou states that "one wonders. Why; Is this inhuman indifference or an attempt to protect some? And who are they?'
