The great composer, Vangelis Papathanasiou, will be honored by the municipality of Volos, following a unanimous decision
The name "Vangelis" will be displayed in the Municipal Theater of Volos, honoring the late composer, who was also called the "musician of the world" from Agria. Who passed away on May 19, 2022.
It became known that the new theater of Volos will be inaugurated by the Ecumenical Patriarch, Bartholomew, during his visit to the capital of Magnesia in early June.
