The Board of Appeals that met to consider the request to lift the temporary detention of the OSE inspector was completed yesterday at noon. The decision is expected to come out within the week.
As the inspector's advocate, Ioannis Glykas, argued after the completion of the procedure, his client is "unjustly in prison", reports larissa.gr
According to the local news site, Mr. Glykas also stressed that they disagree "radically" with the head of the Larissa Appeals Prosecutor's Office, Stamatis Daskalopoulos, who is against the release of the inspector.
It is recalled that the pretrial detention of the inspector took place, after the completion of the investigative process on March 31, with the consent of the investigator Sotiris Bakaimis and Mr. Daskalopoulos.
