For the greater convenience of drivers in view of the increased traffic that the highway is expected to have again this year due to Easter, Olympia Odos reminds with its announcement that the biggest traffic peaks are presented:
On exit
on Maundy Thursday, from approximately 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and
on Good Friday, from early 7:00 am until 5:00 pm
During the return
on Easter Monday, from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm and
on Easter Tuesday, from 12:00 noon until 20:00 at night
By planning your trip outside of peak hours as much as possible, you can save time.
For this reason, consult the Traffic Forecast for the next 72 hours, as well as the Current Traffic in Isthmus and Elefsina on the website www.olympiaodos.gr.
Truck traffic ban
According to the Official Gazette 433/31-01-2023, a ban on the movement of trucks on the Athens - Corinth - Patras highway, and specifically from the Elefsina toll road to the Rio toll road during the exit and return days, is in effect, as follows:
in the outlet stream (towards Patras)
on M. Thursday from 15:00 to 22:00 and
on M. Friday from 06:00 to 16:00
in the incoming stream (towards Athens)
on Easter Monday from 12:00 to 22:00 and
on Easter Tuesday from 11:00 to 23:00.
