On the afternoon of Holy Monday, the 12-year-old girl in Colonos gave a new supplementary statement to the authorities, which was systematically issued for a fee by the owner of the mini market, Ilias Michos, who remains in custody.
According to police sources, since last week there was an order from the Investigator to give a new statement, following a request made by the child himself and his lawyer. In the morning, a police team from the Juvenile Department went to the area where the 12-year-old girl lives, and took her to the General Police Directorate for a supplementary report.
In the long testimony she gave in the presence of a child psychologist of the Sub-Directorate for the Protection of Minors, she stated that she has been the victim of rape by 10 more men. "These are people who - according to the new report - raped the 12-year-old. Most of them are foreigners. The 12-year-old could not identify them. He gave some first names, not remembering more details," police sources say.
Also, the 12-year-old allegedly testified that Elias Michos, who was remanded in custody for pimping, had told her to meet with other people, whom she tried to remember and who have not been mentioned in her previous statements.
As foreseen by the judicial process, the Investigator is expected to make a new order to EL.AS. to identify the young people the girl mentioned in her statement yesterday. After the deposition, the minor returned accompanied by the police force to his house, where he lives with her aunt and her younger brother.
